Spiced Pear Mule
Ingredients (per glass):
2 oz vodka (or gin for a botanical twist)
1 oz pear juice (freshly pressed or high-quality bottled)
½ oz lime juice (freshly squeezed)
Top with ginger beer (about 3–4 oz, chilled)
Optional: ¼ oz simple syrup or honey (for extra sweetness)
Garnish:
Thin pear slice
Fresh rosemary sprig or cinnamon stick
Instructions
Prepare the glass:
Use a copper mule mug or a tall glass. Fill with ice cubes.Mix the base:
In a cocktail shaker (or directly in the mug), add vodka, pear juice, and lime juice.
Shake or stir briefly to combine.
Top it off:
Pour mixture over the ice.
Top with ginger beer, leaving room for garnish.
Stir gently with a bar spoon to blend.
Garnish & serve:
Add a thin pear slice along the rim and a sprig of rosemary or cinnamon stick for aroma.
Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.
Spice it up: Add a pinch of ground cinnamon or a splash of spiced rum for extra warmth.
Pear juice upgrade: Muddle a few slices of ripe pear with a dash of honey before adding vodka for a fresher, more rustic flavor.
Batch for a party: Multiply ingredients by 6–8, mix in a pitcher (except ginger beer), and top with ginger beer right before serving.
